Resolutions R US

The year has once again disappeared rather rapidly and we are moving into the danger zone of New Year's resolutions.

November did not really register on this side and simply became an extension of October, or to quote Dr. Seuss "How did it get late so soon?"

In any event, we should be grateful when we are busy as it sure beats not being busy, providing we are being productive ( use your own definition ) and achieving our objectives.

There I spoiled it by bringing up some contentious terms,  - productive, achieving and objectives - but they tend to form the basis of whatever resolutions you are likely to aspire to in the new year.

Might I suggest you ask yourself just two questions before you decide on any resolution.  What have you learnt this past year and did you learn it deliberately or by accident?

Unless you are in the habit of learning deliberately, whatever resolution/s you set your mind to, will be a waste of time. Without the desire and discipline to learn deliberately, resolutions will remain unfulfilled wishes just like last year.
